The 2011 Robot Games is going to be held in May 14th at Calgary Aerospace Museum. There will be different competitions and categories for all ages and levels of skills. Please follow the links to Date/Location and Events for more details. It is very important to register for the games early, because categories may disappear if there are not enough people registered for a particular event.

Due to the Aerospace Museum’s regulations all spectators have to pay the entrance fee (including family and friends of competitors) but competitors paying the robot games fee can get in for free.

Registration Fees:

$40Cdn per competitor. $30 Cdn for WCRS member

For teams, each additional team-mate costs $10 Cdn

(A competitor or team can enter in more than one event with more than one robot for no extra fee)

Payments can be made at the registration table on the day of the event.

Please make Checks or money order out to “Western Canadian Robotics Society”

For lunch you can buy pizza slices and pop for $1 each.

The planned schedule is at the bottom of this page.

Quick question for you: I’m a teacher bringing a group of six students with five mini-sumo bots. Can we enter as one team, ie registration fees of $40 + $10 x 5 = $100? I would like my school to make out a cheque beforehand. You can contact me at jeff.walso@nwsd.ca
