Would you like to join?

Staying in Touch is important as there is always interesting workshops, meetings, and special events you’ll want to know about! No matter what level of membership you are interested in you’ll need to subscribe to our mailing list at “yahoogroups” ( no charge ).

Associate membership is currently free! To join, please sign up to our email list at YAHOOGROUPS and you’ll always be informed of meetings, activities, and other madness. Regular meetings and mailing list participation are open to all associate members.

Full membership offers rights to vote in WCRS elections, carry a WCRS Membership card ( below ), discounts at many robot-related retailers, discounts in purchase of WCRS merchandise, access to WCRS tools and supplies, discounts to the annual Western Canadian Robot Games, and freedom to enjoy our special “build nights” and other special events.

   Almost every Saturday morning, at the Calgary Aerospace museum we meet. Join the mailing list to stay on top of news, and come to the Saturday gatherings. Look forward to seeing you both!

   We meet every Saturday from 10am – 12pm, and its very informal. Just let the front desk know you are there for the robotics society!

   Hi there,

   I’m a teacher at Westmount Charter school and I’ve been given a robotics class to teach last minute. I know nothing about robots and I’m looking for any guidence you can offer. Perhaps you have some guest speakers that could come in? We will be using the LEGO mindstorms kit. Please contact me if you can help me out. I would truly appreciate it! Thanks!

   Hello, I am 14, I would like to join. I was wondering if I could bring in my robots to club gatherings, and maybe get a few pointers or tips about them. I am very interested in robotics and considering entering the The Robot games that your club hosts.
